Just a Cinch Leash - Ruffwear

I recently tried out a new leash on my unruly dog Fonzie. He is very strong and very hard to walk. He pulls relentlessly. I had heard good things about this Just a Cinch Leash made by RuffWear. As their website describes "This convenient product offers a leash, a collar, and safety all in one. Simply slip the integrated correction collar over your dog's head and get out for fresh air, exercise, and fun! Keep one in your pack, purse, or glove compartment for impromptu adventures."

It is very nice to not have to worry about a collar and a leash. I watch a lot of the Dog Whisperer and he is always using leashes like this that cinch right behind the dogs ears. The first few walks with Fonzie on this leash were a dream. But once he got used to it he started pulling again. Fonzie has a long skinny neck and I had a hard time keeping the leash cinched behind his ears. When it is there it is highly effective, but I just can't get it to stay there. I think on a dog that is shaped differently it would work great. On my shar pei who doesn't have such a giraffe neck I am able to keep it in place. The leash cost about $25. I think it is worth it even though I don't even use it for walks anymore, but we always use it to take Fonzie out to potty.
